Kendall Jenner and Kylie Jenner appeared to be the tightest of sisters growing up, but now that they've reached different places in their careers, their relationship has severely suffered.

Kendall, 19, has skyrocketed to fame by modeling for some of the biggest names in the fashion industry such as Chanel, Marc Jacobs, Calvin Klein, and Estee Lauder. Kylie, 17, on the other hand, is a social media sensation but hasn't done much in the real world since her joint ventures with Kendall in which they had signed deals with PacSun and Steve Madden a couple years back.

Kendall's success has Kylie more jealous and insecure than ever, while Kylie believes her older sister has become a conceited know-it-all. As a result, the sisters have become rivals and "can barely be in the same room anymore," an insider told OK! Weekly in its May 11 issue.

"They're nowhere near as close as they used to be... and their fights are much more vicious."

Kendall, reportedly worth $22 million, continues to climb the ladder, as Kylie, who earns a $150,000 allowance from her mother Kris Jenner, is reportedly still trying to find herself -- and her spot within the beautiful Kardashian/Jenner family.

"Kendall has a real career and is making an insane amount of money. Kylie thinks she's become super arrogant," a source told OK!, adding that Kylie is so jealous she might reveal a "dark secret" about Kendall that could ruin her reputation.

"Kendall has had absolutely no work done and is flawlessly beautiful," the insider noted. "Kylie's had everything from butt injections to jaw surgery... Kendall was always considered the pretty one while Kylie was totally overlooked. She's been seething with resentment for a long time."

But Kendall reportedly thinks Kylie "looks ridiculous" now that she's altered her appearance so drastically -- especially her lips, which are so large, she inspired a #KylieJennerChallenge on social media that resulted in teens bruising their mouths by trying to swell their lips through sucking on a bottle or shot glass for five minutes.

"And [Kendall] doesn't hold back from telling her so," the source explained. "She also thinks it's grotesque that Kylie has had so much work done, particularly at her age. Kylie accuses her of being jealous, but Kendall just laughs and says she's rather look like herself than a Beverly Hills Housewife."

Now that the girls' father Bruce Jenner is openly transgender and living as a woman, he reportedly seeks out Kendall for fashion tips, which also infuriates Kylie.

Although things are worse than ever, Kendall and Kylie's close relationship has been slowly crumbling for a while now.

Last August, the sisters appeared on MTV's Ridiculousness together and revealed Kylie had pulled a kitchen knife on Kendall when they were fighting over lemons, OK! reported.

And at Kanye West's fashion show in February, the sisters reportedly bickered in front of everyone. Kylie was modeling in the show and Kendall was there to just offer her support, but Kylie felt her big sister overstepped her boundaries. Kendall, thinking she was just helping, allegedly yelled at Kylie to grow up.

The constant arguments have led Kendall and Kylie's stepsisters to take sides.

According to OK!, Kim Kardashian believes Kylie has some maturing to do, while Khloe Kardashian sympathizes with Kylie over being the less attractive sister. Kourtney Kardashian is sort of in the middle and has suggested the girls get therapy "to salvage their relationship before it's too late," said the insider.
