In a preview clip for the upcoming episode of "Kocktails with Khloe," Khloe Kardashian discusses her father's role in the O.J. Simpson trial and how it may have affected his health.
Joined by "The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills" star Lisa Rinna, "Straight Outta Compton" actor Marlon Yates Jr., "Rush Hour" actor Kirk Fox and YouTuber GloZell Green, the group discussed the trial and Robert amid the recent FX series premiere of "American Crime Story: The People v. O.J. Simpson."
"I just think holding in secrets... stress kills you," she continued in the preview. "So you manifest things ... I don't know, I'm into symbolic situations."
Robert died in 2003 eight weeks after being diagnosed with esophageal cancer, despite throat cancer not running in the Kardashian family according to Khloe.
In an interview with E! News, Khloe also spoke about how when after Simpson was acquitted of murder, Robert would receive death threats due to the public believing Simpson was guilty."My father's cars would have keyed 'guilty' all over his cars and my dad's just trying to be a good friend and stand up for someone," Khloe explained.
"My dad always had death threats sent to his house or kidnapping scares. There were many times when we couldn't go to my dad's, but as kids, you would think it's the parents not letting you. But our mom doesn't want to be like, 'Oh someone's trying to kidnap you.'"
