Khloe Kardashian is in charge of making all medical decisions for Lamar Odom as the former NBA star remains in a coma, according to reports.

Despite both signing divorce papers in July, a judgement has not yet entered into court making the estranged couple still legally married and leaving Kardashian in charge of his medical care People has reported.

On Wednesday, TMZ reported that the delay in granting the divorce is due to "an extreme backlog in the family law courts," and that the divorce is not expected to be finalized for two more months. Kardashian has also reportedly made several medical decisions on his behalf.

Odom is being treated inside Sunrise Hospital in Las Vegas, Nev., after being found unconscious from an apparent drug overdose inside a brothel on Tuesday. Kardashain and other members of her family have stayed by Odom's side including his former Los Angeles Lakers teammate Kobe Bryant.

Kardashian and Odom married after a month of dating in September 2009, and split amid rumors of the athlete's infidelity and drug use despite the reality star admitting to Complex magazine that she misses her ex-partner "every day."

During the latest season of "Keeping Up With the Kardashians," the 31-year-old was still seen communicating with her former hubby despite the split.
