Khloe Kardashian was reportedly extremely conflicted when deciding whether to give her baby Tristan Thompson's last name or her own.

Amid Tristan's cheating scandal in which he was allegedly unfaithful to the Keeping Up with the Kardashians star with multiple women, Khloe has been forced to decide whether to give him another chance or raise True as a single mom.

And with that life-changing decision came another incredibly difficult choice to make -- whether to name her little girl True Kardashian or True Thompson, TMZ reported.

Sources close to the Kardashians told TMZ the reality TV star chose the name True about a month ago but didn't decide on the surname until a couple of days after her daughter was born on April 12.

Khloe was reportedly convinced her baby girl would be named True Thompson until Tristan's cheating made headlines, and then she went back and forth when filling out True's birth certificate.

According to TMZ, someone very close to Khloe placed an order for blankets and other baby items at Petit Tresor in Beverly Hills but asked the store not to embroider the baby's initials until Khloe's decision on the surname was made. The store was reportedly notified on Monday to use "TT."

Khloe's mom, Kris Jenner, previously explained where the baby's first came comes from.

"I'm so excited to welcome my precious little granddaughter True!!! FUN FACT: My Grandfather's name on my Dad's side was True Otis Houghton. My real Dad's name was Robert True Houghton -- So I am so excited Khloe named her daughter True!!! #lovebug #familytradition #family," Kris, 62, wrote on social media.

Videos and photos appearing to show Tristan making out with other women surfaced a couple of days before Khloe went into labor in Cleveland, OH, where she currently lives with the NBA star.

Tristan allegedly cheated on Khloe both at the beginning and towards the end of her pregnancy.

It is unclear whether Khloe plans to forgive Tristan and stay in Cleveland or leave him and move back to Los Angeles to be with her friends and family.

TMZ reported Tuesday that despite putting on a united front, Khloe and Tristan's relationship is hanging by a thread and she's furious at him.

Meanwhile, Tristan just deleted his most recent post on Instagram -- a photo of himself posing in sunglasses -- on Tuesday after Khloe fans flooded the comments section with criticism, shame and hate. Khloe's family is also reportedly raging over the scandal.
