According to sources close to the two reality TV stars, doctors back timed the date of conception.
Giving birth on Christmas Day is reportedly very likely because Kardashian has a condition in which her placenta grows too deeply into the uterus, so a caesarean section might be necessary for safety reasons if she fails to go into labor when planned.
Kardashian and West have already reserved a Deluxe Maternity Suite at Cedars-Sinai in Los Angeles.
The pair announced the sex of their second child in late June. Kardashian and West's daughter North was born in June 2013, about one year before they tied the knot in Florence, Italy.
