TIME magazine unveiled its list of the "100 Most Influential People" for 2015, and in the mix with politicians, dignitaries, and activists is none other than Kanye West.

To be featured under the Titans category, West will grace one of TIME's covers on Friday, Billboard reports.

"Kanye West would be the first person to tell you he belongs on this list," SpaceX founder Elon Musk writes about the accomplished musician. "Kanye's belief in himself and his incredible tenacity"his performed his first single with his jaw wired shut"got him to where he is today."

"I don't care about having a legacy, I don't care about being remembered," West told TIME. "We were born into a broken world and we're like, the clean up crew."

Wife Kim Kardashian also made the list under the same category. Martha Stewart writes about the pop-culture mogul, "Kim exudes energy, sexuality, drama, determination, impetuousness and happiness."

"The Kardashians are a totally modern construct," she goes on, "They are a blended family, of Armenian descent, with biracial pairings ... and a reportedly transgender parent." She says that they singlehandedly expanded the definition of family.

West and Kardashian make waves in every industry they touch, and their inclusion in TIME's list further confirms what its combined 43 million Twitter followers already know: their influence knows no bounds. Their staggering success is almost fairytale-like, and Kanye's motivational philosophy continues to challenge the norm.

"What's the main thing that makes magic 'magic'?" he asks, "No one believes it's possible."
