Kim Kardashian and fiance Kanye West are reportedly planning a secret, private wedding ceremony in their home state of California soon.

Sources close to the couple told TMZ the confidential license enables Kardashian and West to have a court official come to them personally and perform a private ceremony in their home. That way, the celebrities can avoid exchanging vows in a public courthouse, an idea the couple's attorney allegedly recommended.
However, the lavish wedding ceremony in Paris everyone's been talking about will reportedly still take place and is set for May 24.
"Kim will have at least three dress changes on the big ceremony day in France," a source told RadarOnline. "It will be over the top. Kim and Kanye want it to be the wedding of the century."
Kardashian and West will reportedly have three wedding ceremonies in total because after they wed in Los Angeles and leave the country, French law requires two marriage events of its own -- a civil ceremony followed by a religious ceremony.
"The minister, priest or rabbi will require a certificate of civil marriage before any religious ceremony takes place," the French Embassy in Washington D.C. told RadarOnline.
The couple welcomed a daughter, North "Nori" West, in June of last year and got engaged in October.
Kardashian and the rapper are keeping their wedding plans under wraps to the point their own guests won't even know the venue until they arrive in France later this month, Us Weekly reported.
"She hasn't even told her sisters," an insider recently told Us.
