Kim Kardashian paid tribute to late first lady Jackie Kennedy in a new magazine feature with daughter North West.
"This photo shoot I will cherish forever as such an amazing memory with my daughter, working with the most incredible team @interviewmag @nickkharamis," Kardashian wrote, tagging Interview editor-in-chief Nick Haramis.
The cover shows Kardashian wearing Kennedy's signature bouffant hairstyle, a white mock neck dress and elbow-length gloves, with North in a collared dress.
Another photo shows the pair in coordinating black and white outfits.
"Just wanted to thank @stevenkleinstudio for pushing me to do a shoot that was very different & powerful & allowed me to pay homage to the iconic Jackie Kennedy who I admire & respect!" the star said.Kardashian, who shares North and 20-month-old son Saint West with husband Kanye West, opened up about North in an accompanying interview with writer Janet Mock, saying she's "very conscious" of raising a mixed race daughter.
"Kanye always has his family around and people who look like my daughter -- that's important to me," the star told Mock.
"We also talk about it with my niece Penelope [Disick], because she and North look really different, but they're best friends and they're together all the time," she added.
"We want our kids to be really aware," she explained. "I think that's all you can do. The more you talk about things and keep them out in the open, the more they won't be taboo."
Kardashian shared a photo this month of North and Penelope embracing while wearing matching hairstyles.
The cousins celebrated their respective birthdays at a joint Moana-themed party in June.
