Kim Kardashian apparently became pregnant with North West against the odds and is confident she can defeat the odds again to expand her family with husband Kanye West.

Calling North her "best friend," the Keeping Up with the Kardashians star talked about how hard it was for her to conceive.

"A few years ago I was told I could never get pregnant," Kardashian, 34, told Elle UK's upcoming "Confidence Issue," according to Us Weekly. "Three different doctors told me the same thing, which is why I wanted to have my eggs frozen. I was just about to do that when I found out I was pregnant with North."

Kardashian wants to give North, 17 months, a sibling or two and clearly isn't all that concerned with doctors' previous warnings.

"I want a boy and another girl; I want it to start happening straightaway," Kardashian reportedly said. "I loved being part of a huge family -- and I want that for North. We'd do IVF if nothing happens, but we both want to keep trying naturally."

Besides North, a new baby would have three cousins -- Kourtney's children Mason, 4, Penelope, 2, and another child who's due to be born this month.

Kardashian, who is either highly praised or criticized for her famous curvy frame, explained to Elle UK she's truly pleased with her physical appearance.

"It's taken me a long time to be happy with my body and for my confidence to grow to what it is today. I grew up when the body to have was the tall, slim, supermodel one, like Cindy Crawford's. No one looked like me," Kardashian reportedly said.

"It's good to break the mold and recreate one. I'm an Armenian girl, I have shape, and it turned out people liked that. That makes me feel good about myself and about other women for being so supportive. I am a confident woman, but I didn't just arrive confident -- it has built over the years and that is a big part of who I am now."

Her late father Robert Kardashian apparently helped the reality TV star become who she is today after giving her great advice at age 13.

"I was unhappy with my body -- I developed really early. Every night I would sit in the bath and cry, I prayed my boobs would stop growing," she told Elle UK, according to Us. "He told me I had a body not many girls have, that later it would lead to attention from men, but that the most important thing was that I was a wonderful girl and I had to understand my self-worth."

Kardashian wears many skimpy ensembles and has exposed her naked body on numerous magazine covers, showing how proud she really is of her figure. However, when nude images of her leaked online in September, that was apparently crossing the line.

"I feel violated because these are private pictures. I didn't choose for them to be out there. But I'm also realistic," Kardashian explained. "I'm on covers of magazines practically naked, so I can't go crazy about it. The only choice I can make is to not let it shake me up. I'm not having that choice taken away from me."

In addition, Kardashian commented on the skyrocketing success of her 19-year-old modeling half-sister Kendall.

"I think she will be a huge star. I definitely think she will be bigger than I have ever been," she admitted.
