Kim Kardashian has revealed she got caught up with all the hoopla of her wedding and got too far into the process to turn back and end her relationship with Kris Humphries before walking down the aisle.

"I felt like I was on a fast roller coaster and couldn't get off when now I know I probably should have. I got caught up with the hoopla and the filming of the TV show that when I probably should have ended my relationship, I didn't know how to and didn't want to disappoint a lot of people," Kardashian, who filed for divorce from Humphries -- her husband of 72 days -- citing irreconcilable differences on Monday, wrote on her kimkardashian.com website.
The Keeping Up with the Kardashians and Kourtney and Kim Take New York star also expressed frustration over widespread reports that she profited from the wedding.
"There are also reports that I made millions of dollars off of the wedding. These reports are simply not true and it makes me so sad to have to even clarify this. I'm so grateful to everyone who took the time to come to my wedding and I'll be donating the money for all the gifts to the Dream Foundation," Kardashian said.
Kardashian also denied speculation that the whole wedding -- a late August ceremony which took place in front of 450 guests at a private estate in Montecito, CA, and aired last month as a two-part special on E! -- was a sham to make money.

"I married for love. I can't believe I even have to defend this. I would not have spent so much time on something just for a TV show! I share so much of my life on a reality show, that contemplating whether to even film my wedding was a tough decision to make, and maybe it turned out to not be the smartest decision. But it's who I am!" Kardashian wrote.
"Everyone that knows me knows that I'm a hopeless romantic! I love with all of my heart and soul. I want a family and babies and a real life so badly that maybe I rushed into something too soon. I believed in love and the dream of what I wanted so badly."
While TMZ recently reported that Kardashian struggled over the weekend with the idea of whether to follow through with the divorce -- crying and repeatedly changing her mind until she made her final decision Sunday night -- the reality TV star is seemingly convinced that she made the right decision.
"I have to follow my heart. I never had the intention of hurting anybody and I accept full responsibility for my actions and decisions, and for taking everyone on this journey with me. It just didn't turn out to be the fairy tale I had so badly hoped for," Kardashian added.
Kim Kardashian on Tuesday dismissed reports that she profited from her televised wedding to Kris Humphries, only one day after filing for divorce from the basketball player.
"There are also reports that I made millions of dollars off of the wedding. These reports are simply not true and it makes me so sad to have to even clarify this. I'm so grateful to everyone who took the time to come to my wedding, and I'll be donating the money for all the gifts to the Dream Foundation," Kardashian wrote in a message posted on her website.
The 31-year-old "Keeping Up With The Kardashians" TV star filed for divorce from Humphries, 26, on Monday after 72 days of marriage. Their wedding in August was reported to have cost $10 million, and it aired in October on the E! network in a special called "Kim's Fairytale Wedding: A Kardashian Event."
