Kim Kardashian admits Kanye West never gave her a heads-up before announcing his plans to run for President of the United States.

"I did not. That was news to me," Kardashian replied.
"So he never even said to you, 'Maybe I want to run for President someday...?'" DeGeneres questioned.
"No, that wasn't a discussion in our household," the Keeping Up with the Kardashians star confessed with a big smile.
"So maybe he's not serious. Is he serious?!" DeGeneres pushed, seemingly trying not to laugh.
"No, he's serious," Kardashian confirmed.
"Oh, he is," DeGeneres noted with surprise.
"I believe he is serious and I know that if he puts his mind to something, he'll do his best," Kardashian explained. "And you know, it's been fascinating just hearing all the conversations that have gone on since that announcement. I don't know if it was planned and I just didn't know about it, or, if he came up with that idea right then and there."
"Well, he said he was high. He admitted that. He said he had been smoking on a little something," DeGeneres pointed out.
"That was a fun night," Kardashian said slyly. "And I'm looking forward to what's to come."
The talk show host then brought the conversation back to how it's possible West might run for President without Kardashian having any knowledge of it.
"Yeah, that's a big thing to not talk to your wife about," the pregnant reality TV star said while still smiling.

"But I think it would be so much fun to be in the White House. I was joking with him saying, 'You're going to have to make it to a second term,' because he loves redecorating. So I was like, 'If you're going to want to re-do the whole White House, we're not going to be able to enjoy it. So we're going to have to just go with the flow."
DeGeneres then admitted West, a 38-year-old rapper, does have very good taste, and Kardashian eagerly agreed.
