Kim Kardashian has confirmed she and fiance Kanye West are planning a summer wedding in Paris.

While reports recently surfaced the couple wants to tie the knot at the Palace of Versailles, the Keeping Up with the Kardashians star insisted that won't be their wedding venue.
"We took a private tour. Him and I have never been there, so we just wanted a tour, and of course everyone thought we were picking that as our wedding place and all of that which, no, we were just taking a tour," Kardashian said during a Thursday night appearance on Jimmy Kimmel Live.
"But we will be getting married this summer, hopefully, in Paris. Yeah, so, we love it there! When I said hopefully, I didn't mean like, 'Hopefully getting married,' [I meant] like, 'Hopefully just this summer.'"
Kardashian, 33, revealed she and West, 36, are pretty much settled on Paris as the location. They just spent last weekend there alone, scoping out possible destinations where they could get married. Their baby North "Nori" West stayed home with family so the couple could enjoy some quiet, alone time.

"I think [Paris is it]. It's like our second home. We spend so much time there; We have an apartment there. So, we really love it," Kardashian said, reluctant to share any specific details of their big day.
"I'm not telling you where or the date, but I think it's kind of obvious that it's Paris."
Both Kardashian and West are apparently both diving into the wedding plans head-first, not just the bride-to-be.
"I think we're both equally [interested in the planning]. I know they think, or they say, that the guy usually doesn't care and just shows up -- Kanye really cares and he's really passionate about it. So it makes my job so much easier... I love it. He just knows what he wants and I love that about him," Kardashian told Kimmel.
"We're kind of taking different roles, like he'll take care of the music and I'll take care of the seating chart, different stuff like that. So we're making it really easy on each other."

When asked whether West will rap his wedding vows, Kardashian laughed and said, "I don't think so, but I will ask him."
Kardashian does, however, intend to take the rapper's last name when they get married.
"I will. Yeah, I'll be probably Kim Kardashian -- move that to my middle name -- West," she noted.
Kardashian started dating West shortly after her split from Kris Humphries in October 2011. They welcomed their daughter into the world on June 15 and got engaged on the reality TV star's October 21 birthday last year.
