"Such a tremendous honor to be on the cover of @forbes! I never dreamed this would happen & know my Dad would be proud," Kardashian tweeted Monday.
Kim Kardashian: Hollywood allows users to create their own fashionable celebrity, befriend Kardashian and then work their way to "A-list" celebrity status. Since its June 2014 launch, the game has reportedly been downloaded 45 million times and has generated $160 million in revenue.
Although she gave such a humble statement about her success, Kardashian couldn't resist taking a shot at the haters out there in the world.
"#NotBadForAGirlWithNoTalent," Kardashian added in her tweet with a heart-eyed emoji and a winking emoji sticking its tongue out.
Since becoming a celebrity, Kardashian has fought very hard to be taken seriously. Critics have said she's "famous just for being famous," and Kardashian can't seem to live down the fact she was launched into the spotlight thanks to a leaked sex tape with her ex-boyfriend William "Ray J" Norwood.
Kardashian told Forbes that she got into the business because she loved video games growing up, and once she became "really intrigued with the tech world," she realized the industry would be the next big step in her career.
"I remember I asked [husband Kanye West], 'Should I do this?' He was like, 'Yes!' That's how he got into music, because he wanted to do music for video games and wanted to create video games," she said.
Kardashian initially questioned whether people would want to mimic her life, but the interest in doing so has been astounding. A whopping 40% of Kardashian's paycheck this year reportedly came from the game alone.
Whalerock Industries developed Kardashian's app, which can be downloaded for $1.99. The game has been updated in real time, enabling fans to purchase outfits, vacations and more at an additional small price. Kardashian apparently signs off on everything -- from eyeliner, to hairstyles, to color tones.
Kardashians new push? A $2.99-a-month eponymous app that reportedly gives paying users exclusive beauty tutorials and Kardashian content, which currently includes "How to Go Four Days Without Washing Your Hair."
"When people looked at me in a way like, 'Why is she stepping into the tech world? That's not her territory! Stick to reality TV!' I was like, 'No.' This is fun for me. Now I'm coming up with Kimojis... and all these other ideas. I don't see myself stopping," Kardashian explained to Forbes.
