Kim Kardashian can clearly laugh at herself and not take things too seriously.

Shortly after releasing her own book of selfies entitled "Selfish," the Keeping Up with the Kardashians star will be starring in a comedic Super Bowl commercial that pokes fun at her obsession with taking cell phone pictures.

In the Super Bowl ad, which is currently taking the online space by storm and will air February 1 during the big game, Kardashian promotes T-Mobile's new "Data Stash" program that allows people to save any unused data -- which they had already paid for -- for up to one year.

The commercial features Kardashian posing for random selfies in numerous situations and being thankful she didn't lose any data since it's what ultimately gives her the opportunity to post photos on social media.

"The ad really incorporated a lot of my personality," Kardashian told People after revealing the spot Monday on Conan with Conan O'Brien.

"We really went over scene by scene and what selfies I thought would really showcase me and what I would do. I ski, I went to tennis camp growing up. So there are some things in the commercial that I don't think people know about me."

Kardashian, 34, previously appeared on a commercial for Sketchers in the 2011 Super Bowl. She apparently knows it's a big deal and therefore jumped at the chance to star in another one for 2015.

"I think it's such an iconic time, everyone watches the Super Bowl," Kardashian told the magazine.

"We wanted to come up with something that was fun, witty, sexy and I think this commercial really kind of has everything. Whether it's business calls, selfies, whatever, I'm always on my phone. And the concept was just so fun and I just got it right away, it clicked."
