Kim Kardashian is returning to the spotlight in the Middle East.

The Keeping Up with the Kardashians star revealed on Wednesday she was traveling with Scott Disick for her first public appearance since being robbed of $10 million in jewelry at gunpoint in Paris over three months ago.

"On our way, #dubai," Kardashian, 36, captioned an Instagram photo of the pair.

The mom of two later posted a Snapchat from the airport in which she showed off her oversized shiny "laser goggles," which must be worn after a laser treatment.

Kardashian is expected to make her first public appearance on Friday at celebrity makeup artist Mario Dedivanovic's Master Class in Dubai, a source told People, adding that she'll be flanked by security.

"She is excited about her Dubai trip. She is excited about the change of scenery and is looking forward to spending time with her fans. She will have a big security team. She isn't concerned about her safety. As of now, the kids are not coming."

Kardashian was originally scheduled to participate in this makeup demonstration on October 14, but she canceled the event following the October 3 robbery.

Kardashian must feel some relief after 17 suspects were arrested earlier this week in alleged connection with the crime. Initially traumatized by the incident, Kardashian avoided public outings for months and also disappeared from social media entirely until her January 3 return

"Kim is aware that the French police have made arrests relating to her robbery," an insider close to the reality TV star previously told the magazine. "While she is relieved they are making progress, any updates makes her relive everything. It's still very tough for her to deal with."

Kardashian has reportedly become a better person since the scare. Her choice to temporarily maintain a low profile also allowed for some extra quality time with her kids, North and Saint.

"Taking time off after the robbery has really changed Kim. And for the better. She initially was just too shocked and traumatized to deal with anything but her kids," another source previously told People.

"As time went on, she realized that she actually loved her slower life. She feels very grateful that she has been able to spend the past few months just focusing on her kids. Kim thinks they are growing too fast and she has enjoyed spending more quiet time with them."
