"I'm an alcoholic," The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills star is shown telling reunion host Andy Cohen in a preview clip released by Bravo. "I'm an alcoholic."

Richards made the revelation when she recently sat down with Cohen in a separate interview from the rest of her castmates that will air during the last installment of The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills' three-part reunion special on Monday, February 13 at 9PM ET/PT, People reported.

Richards was absent from the initial filming of the show's second-season reunion special -- which will debut its first part on Monday, January 30 at 9PM ET/PT and feature the rest of her fellow The Real Housewives stars -- because she was in rehab seeking treatment for alcohol abuse.

Richards entered rehab in December and checked out following more than one month of treatment for her drinking problem. The "very defiant" 47-year-old reality TV star apparently struggled in her attempt to get sober, as she "tried to leave and ended up coming back" to the undisclosed treatment center during her stay, a source told Us Weekly late last month.

Richards' alcoholism first came to public light on Bravo's January 2011 broadcast of The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills' first-season finale during an argument with Kyle Richards, her sister and fellow The Real Housewives star.

During the heated confrontation, Kyle claimed Richards was an alcoholic who had previously rejected her family's attempts to convince her to enter a rehab program.

Richards was reportedly deeply humiliated by her sister's disclosure but nonetheless returned for the second season of The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills, which premiered in September.
