Kim Zolciak has been working hard to campaign for votes and encourage fans to petition Dancing with the Stars' withdrawal ruling.

Dancing with the Stars host Tom Bergeron explained during Monday night's broadcast that the rules state Zolciak must pull out of the Season 21 competition since she couldn't make it to Los Angeles to perform her I Dream of Jeannie routine with pro partner Tony Dovolani for "TV Night."

After suffering a mini-stroke last week and spending three days in the hospital, Zolciak was not permitted by doctors to fly on a plane yesterday, however, she says she would've been able to dance and is well enough to perform in the weeks to come.

As a result, Zolciak is looking for Dancing with the Stars to make an exception for her in the rules. The show also displayed her voting phone number at the end of Monday night's broadcast, so she jumped on the opportunity to have her fans still try to vote for her. If enough people show support for Zolciak's return, you never know what might happen.

"Hey our number works call In now 855-234-5609," Zolciak tweeted last night, insisting she can dance next week.

"I practiced for hours Saturday. I was so excited to be there tonight! I just needed a few more days and then I'm cleared to fly," the Don't Be Tardy and former The Real Housewives of Atlanta star wrote on Instagram.

Followers of the reality TV star are voicing their opinions over the topic, and the majority seem to want Zolciak to get a second chance in the competition.

"@DancingABC @Kimzolciak and #2 aren't rules made to be broken? Seriously let the viewers and fellow contestants chime in on this," one follower wrote, to which Zolciak replied, "Let's go," with a wink face.

Another protestor tweeted a good point: "@DancingABC @Kimzolciak if Kim was cleared to dance but missed her flight or flight was canceled then what would the lawyers' ruling be?"

Many Zolciak fans have also pointed out that DWTS pro Derek Hough had to sit out a few weeks of the show last season for an injury and Troupe member Sasha Farber temporarily replaced him to dance with celebrity contestant Nastia Liukin.

However, a good argument can also be made there is a big difference between a pro and a celebrity's absence and inability to dance on the series.
