Kardashian insists the mold was allegedly deliberately covered up and hidden by a coat of fresh paint, and according to sources, the reality TV star's decorator discovered the dangerous mold when installing some fixtures.
The 12,000 square-foot home in Calabasas was reportedly taken off the market on December 31, 2013 for over $8 million.
Kardashian has two young children with longtime boyfriend Scott Disick and another baby on the way, so she reportedly checked into Beverly Hills' Montage hotel with her family on Monday as a safety precaution.
The clan recently returned from the Hamptons, TMZ reported, and Disick arrived at the hotel later on.
Johnson, a former Dancing with the Stars participant, reportedly declined comment on the matter. He was a contestant on the seventeenth season of Dancing with the Stars but happened to be the first celebrity booted from the show.
In November 2008, Johnson inked a deal with A&E for a weekend reality television series entitled Keyshawn Johnson: Tackling Design. The show aired in July 2009 and featured the former pro football player sharing his knowledge of interior design to help others redecorate their homes.
