Kourtney Kardashian reportedly called it quits with Scott Disick mainly because his reckless behavior isn't good for their three young children.

"She was over dealing with his constant lies and addictions," a Kardashian source told People of Disick, who has been struggling with substance abuse issues for years as frequently documented on Keeping Up with the Kardashians.
"It was becoming a poor environment for the kids to be raised in and she refused to let that be the case."
Reports surfaced Monday that Kardashian and Disick split over Fourth of July weekend after nearly a decade together. Disick was photographed getting touchy-feely with ex-girlfriend Chloe Bartoli, 25, in Monte Carlo after, according to E! News, spending a month away from home.
Kardashian, 36, and Disick, 32, are parents to Mason Disick, 5, Penelope Disick, 2, and Reign Disick, 6 months.

Sources have since come forward saying Disick's partying is out of control and he's fallen off the wagon worse than ever before.
"He acts out, he rebels, he drinks too much and he embarrasses her. He just rebels against the crazy responsibility of having three kids and makes Kourtney do it all," an insider told People.
"Kourtney is willing to sacrifice her relationship with Scott in order to keep [her kids] safe. Her children are her first priority. She needs to protect herself and her family, so she knows this is the right decision."
Kardashian and Disick have dated since 2006 but temporarily split in 2010 prior to her pregnancy with Mason due to Disick's alcoholism. Disick then had a brief yet "hot and heavy" fling with Bartoli during his separation from Kardashian, but he reportedly reconciled with the reality TV star by the end of 2010.
Disick had an eye-opening experience when entering rehab in 2014, but he relapsed this year and sought treatment in March at a facility in Costa Rica. He returned to California a few weeks later but was reportedly expected to return and continue therapy.
