"We want to have a second sooner rather than later," Cavallari, 26, told E! News last month. "We're working on it!"
Cavallari told the website she and the NFL Chicago Bears quarterback have two reasons why they're hurrying to have another child.
"We know we want another one close in age to Camden and we're at the point where we're both ready," she said. "Before Camden was born, I thought I'd be pregnant again by the time he was six months, but I definitely wasn't ready. Now, I'm finally ready."
While the couple has yet to reveal whether they have a baby girl or boy on the way, Cavallari admitted which gender she's hoping for.
"Obviously, I want a little girl," Cavallari told E! News. "But if I had another boy I would be so excited as well. I love having a boy. Either way, I'd be really, really happy."
Cavallari -- who also competed on Dancing with the Stars' thirteenth season -- and Cutler wed in June when Camden was almost one-years-old, and they reportedly honeymooned in Italy.
Cutler proposed to the former reality TV star for the third time in February via text message and mailed her the engagement ring.
The pair got re-engaged in late November 2011 after the couple -- who had previously gotten engaged in April 2011 after only seven months of dating but allegedly split that July when Cutler dumped her -- began reconciling in September 2011.
