The former The Hills star and fiance Jay Cutler announced they are expecting their first child together late last month, and while the couple "can't wait" to expand their family, Cavallari firmly insisted viewers won't see their lives play out on-camera.
"I'm producing a reality show, so I'm definitely still in that world. But doing a reality show about Jay and I will never happen. My baby will never be on TV. That sort of thing is completely out of the question," explained Cavallari, who also competed on the thirteenth season of Dancing with the Stars.
While Cavallari won't be the star of an upcoming show, she's hopeful that viewers will eventually get to see a reality show she's been developing behind the scenes.
"I hope this reality show that I'm producing will be on TV [within five years] and that it'll be a huge success and be in season five or six. I'm working with Freemantle -- who does American Idol and The X Factor and some of the biggest shows on TV. I've been working on it for two years, so I'm dying to tell everybody about it, but I can't say it just yet," the 25-year-old added.
Cavallari and Cutler got engaged in April after just seven months of dating and reportedly split in July when the NFL quarterback dumped her, leaving her "absolutely devastated" and "in shock."
The couple reportedly began reconciling in September and got re-engaged in late November. The announcement came just one week after Cavallari had denied a re-engagement.
