Kylie Jenner admits it would've been wonderful to have Caitlyn Jenner at her July high school graduation party but she didn't hold it against her mother Kris Jenner, who threw the surprise party but chose not to send an invitation Caitlyn's way.

"Some people made a big deal about the fact that my dad wasn't included in that graduation party my mom threw for [Kendall Jenner] and I, and I did miss Caitlyn being there," Kylie wrote in a blog post on her website Tuesday, People reported.

Kylie confessed she wishes "Caitlyn could have been there," but the 18-year-old Keeping Up with the Kardashians star noted "it's understandable why she wasn't [at the party] and I respected my mom's decision about it."

Although Kendall graduated high school one year earlier, the party was also thrown at Kris' Calabasas mansion in her honor.

Kylie was well aware of the fact Caitlyn's gender transition was difficult for her mother, 59.

However, Caitlyn, 65, "was a huge part" of her life in school, as the former Olympian "would drive me 45 mins to and from every day and he never missed a game I had."

It took a while for Kris to come around to Caitlyn's transformation. As shown on recent episodes of Keeping Up with the Kardashians, Kris cried about losing her ex-husband Bruce and accused him of not handling the situation well with their family. She also tearfully admitted she wished she had never met Caitlyn.

"Obviously, I was angry," Kris said, according to People. "But we are all good now and have moved past it."
