Lamar Odom was photographed drinking at an Irish pub in the early morning hours of Easter Sunday before celebrating with estranged wife Khloe Kardashian and her family, who disapprove and are now reportedly worried.

Odom, 36, suffered an overdose in October of last year after abusing drugs and alcohol while staying in a Nevada brothel, and he's been on a slow path to recovery ever since. So according to a source close to Kardashian, Odom's little outing with two male friends in Sherman Oaks, CA, is a big cause for concern.

"He almost died -- if that's not enough to keep him sober, then what is? If Lamar makes this a habit, Khloe will walk away for good this time. Khloe is shocked that he was caught drinking again," the source told Entertainment Tonight.

"One thing is so clear -- Khloe would never get back with Lamar unless she knew 100 percent that he was maintaining his sobriety. So him drinking again is a huge slap in her face."

Odom "downed" three Remy Martin drinks -- the same liquor he was drinking in the Nevada brothel -- at Johnny O'Brien pub on Saturday night and stayed for about an hour until 1AM on Sunday, according to TMZ. Insiders say Odom believes he can "casually drink" without consequences.

The source told ET that Odom seemed perfectly fine at church later that morning, however, Kardashian isn't happy and "everyone is wondering who took him [to the bar]."

"Khloe worked really hard to get all the enablers out of his life," the source explained.

"He should not be consuming any alcohol right now, and was told that by his medical team. He's still going to rehab treatments. He does a lot of cognitive rehab mostly. He still hasn't fully gotten all his memories and motor skills back yet. He's made incredible strides though, but he's nowhere near where he was when they were married."

Kardashian, 31, posted a cryptic tweet early Tuesday morning although it's unclear whether she was talking about Odom's situation.

"I hate this feeling.... Helpless," the Keeping Up with the Kardashians star wrote hours after photos of Odom at the pub surfaced.

Kardashian also retweeted two inspirational messages on Twitter originally written by a preacher. They suggested one should never give up hope and God always has a better plan.

Kardashian filed for divorce from Odom in December 2013 but they are still technically married. Although Kardashian has made it known she's not romantically involved with Odom right now, the source close to her told ET, "There is still a great love there."

Just last month, Kardashian talked about her relationship with Odom while hosting one of her Kocktails With Khloe episodes.

"Just building a friendship back is what I'm doing now," Kardashian reportedly said.

"It has nothing intimate, nothing at all. Just pure love, and I want someone to learn how to love themselves again... The best dream would be like, 'Okay, I hope that first marriage could happen again,' but it's really hard to erase everything that happened."

Odom continues to get treatment while living near Kardashian's Calabasas home, and she has remained at his side since last year's incident.
