Lauren Conrad isn't worried about giving birth.
The 31-year-old designer and first-time mom-to-be said in the July issue of Fit Pregnancy and Baby that the pain of labor is "pretty low" on her list of concerns.
"Last night I ordered a book on putting together a birth plan," Conrad told the magazine. "My main concern is doing whatever's right in the moment. My friends have said, 'Have a plan, but don't be so committed that you're unwilling to change if you need to.'"
"I'm not worried about the pain that comes with giving birth. Maybe I'm just naive, but it's pretty low on my list of concerns. I feel like women have been doing this forever," she said.
Conrad is pregnant and expecting a baby boy with husband William Tell, whom the former "The Hills" married in 2014.
She confessed in the interview that she's "thrilled" to be having a son over a daughter.
"I really wanted a boy. My husband kept saying, 'We just want a healthy baby.' And I'd say, 'But a boy would be nice!'" the star recalled.
"I was a wild little tomboy, so I think I understand boys," she explained. "My mom always told me that nobody loves you like a son does, especially when he's young."
Conrad came to fame on the MTV series "Laguna Beach" and "The Hills," and launched her LC Lauren Conrad line for Kohl's in 2009.

She announced Monday that she will release a maternity line with the company.
"So excited to finally share that I have been working on a @lclaurenconrad maternity line with @kohls! I had so much fun creating a collection that would make soon-to-be mama feels their fest," she wrote on Instagram. "It's available in select stores and online June 7th."
Conrad's former "Laguna Beach" co-star Talan Torriero announced this week that wife Danielle Torriero is expecting a baby boy.
Her former "The Hills" castmate Heidi Montag is also pregnant with a son.
