Lauren Conrad still cringes when she recalls certain parts of "The Hills."
"[It] was really hard to watch," Conrad said. "The producers were like, we know you've kissed off-camera, now we need to see it on camera."
"I agreed to it, but it was just so uncomfortable," she confessed. "I wanted to die. I still get idiot shivers when I watch it."
Conrad starred on five seasons of "The Hills," which ended in 2010 after six seasons.
The designer admitted she gets "so embarrassed" at certain aspects of the show, but said the drama made for good TV."We were so unfiltered and I think that's what made the show," she said. "We were honest, and we just didn't know any better. I said some of the stupidest stuff!"
Conrad will revisit "The Hills" on the MTV special "The Hills: That Was Then, This is Now." The program will reveal secrets from the reality series and is scheduled to air Tuesday at 9 p.m. ET.
