Lifetime has announced it's ordered Abby's Ultimate Dance Competition, a new reality series which will feature Dance Moms star Abby Lee Miller as its lead judge and 12 young girl and boy dancers from around the country competing for two grand prizes.

In addition to the outspoken and critical Miller, Abby's Ultimate Dance Competition will also star Robin Antin, the founder of the Pussycat Dolls group -- which once highlighted former The X Factor judge Nicole Scherzinger -- and professional celebrity choreographer Richard Jackson on the judging panel. MTV's Kevin Manno will serve as host.
Similar to Dance Moms' premise, the contestants' own mothers will be by their side but also help to coach them throughout the season. The moms will be required to make music, choreographic, training, and costume decisions on behalf of their children and also function in the same vicinity as other competitive parents.
Miller, Antin and Jackson will choose one dancer to eliminate each week. At the end of the season, the final young performer left standing will win a $100,000 cash prize and a scholarship to the Young Dancer Program at the Joffrey Ballet School in New York.
Abby's Ultimate Dance Competition will be produced by Collins Avenue with Jeff Collins, Michael Hammond, Mike Aho, Sandi Johnson, Rob Sharenow, Gena McCarthy, and Kimberly Chessler serving as executive producers. Bryan Stinson and Adam Vetri will be co-executive producing.
