Lifetime has announced it has ordered Preachers' Daughters, a new reality series which will follow the lives of pastors' teenage daughters as they attempt to balance adolescence with their strict parents' religious expectations.

"Adolescence can be a challenging time of transition for children and their parents," Lifetime executive Rob Sharenow said in a statement.
"By opening their homes and lives to our viewers, the families featured on Preachers' Daughters will provide an honest portrayal of their experiences -- bookended by the deep love they share and shifting household dynamics in their beliefs."
Preachers' Daughters' season will consist of eight episodes and premiere next year.
Preachers' Daughters will be produced by Thinkfactory Media and executive produced by Sharenow, Adam Reed, Emily Sinclair, Adam Freeman, Leslie Greif, Gena McCarthy, Kimberly Chessler, and Toby Faulkner.
