The contestant left standing at the end of the six-episode series will receive the grand prize of a one-year contract as a professional Max Factor makeup artist, $100,000 in cash and the opportunity to do makeup for a "major glossy magazine cover shoot," according to Variety.
The show's host, mentor and three-person judging panel have yet to be named, Variety reported.
Earlier this year, Lifetime Networks agreed to an unexpected five-year deal to bring Project Runway to Lifetime from Bravo beginning with the reality series' sixth season -- which is scheduled to debut in November.
Blush: The Search for America's Greatest Makeup Artist is also reportedly slated to debut in November.
"[Blush is an effort to showcase] the critical role (makeup) plays in almost every performing element of the entertainment industry," executive producer Rob Lee told Variety.
Blush: The Search for America's Greatest Makeup Artist is produced by IMG Entertainment.
