The America's Next Top Model all-stars champion recently got into a freak accident that severely injured her face.
D'Amato posted graphic pictures on her Instagram and Facebook accounts on Tuesday of her face on Day 2 and Day 4 following last week's incident. She clearly suffered a broken nose in a few places, a lacerated forehead and chin, and swollen and cut lips.
According to the model, the accident occurred in a Colorado hotel after she had just finished up filming Cowboys and Indians, an indie movie. She apparently took a dive and landed on her face while attempting a handstand up against a crew member, who brutally fell ontop of her during the stunt, People reported.
"We were just kind of monkeying around. It was a totally freak accident. It wasn't like we were doing back flips off the balcony," D'Amato told People.

"I looked at my hands. They were covered with blood. That's when I thought, 'Oh, my God, what did I do to myself?' Of course, I started crying."
Immediately following her nasty fall, D'Amato was reportedly taken to the emergency room and then transported to a nearby hospital where she underwent plastic surgery to reconstruct her nose.
"I didn't have the best nose in the world to begin with. It gave me character," she joked. "Now I have a nice little nose job. I get a super cute nose."
D'Amato told the magazine that everyone who had witnessed the accident "seemed so sad" but she tried to lighten the mood by cracking jokes.
Still recovering, the technical seventeenth-season winner of Top Model plans to leave soon for her belated honeymoon with husband Adam Friedman, whom she wed in late September, and begin taping a television pilot.

D'Amato also competed on America's Next Top Model's fifth season in 2005 and finished sixth. She subsequently appeared on the third season of Celebrity Rehab with Dr. Drew in 2010.
