Liz Davis was crowned the winner of P. Diddy's Starmaker during last night's finale broadcast of the MTV reality competition series.

In winning Starmaker, Davis became the first predominantly country artist to sign with Bad Boy.
"I just believe that I have the strength, the endurance and the drive to go far," said Davis before her victory was revealed. "I want to make history with you. I want to be signed to your label."
Davis defeated St. Louis native Todd Sarvies, who finished as the runner-up.
"I just had so much fun up here," said Sarvies. "I've taken a lot of small steps in the wrong direction over the years trying to do it by myself. This competition is the biggest step in the right direction I've ever taken."
Melody Angel was also revealed to be the third-place finisher earlier in the broadcast.
"I just want to say to my mother, I just thank you for always pushing me and believing in me," said Angel after her ouster.
"It don't matter where you grew up or what you've done in your life, you can go for your dreams. Don't you ever let nobody tell you what you can't do in this world... I know in my heart this is what I'm supposed to do with the rest of my life."
For their finale performances, Davis, Sarvies and Angel were each able to choose a song that had previously been sung on the Starmaker stage or select from a handful of new songs. Davis chose "Redneck Woman" by Gretchen Wilson, Sarvies picked "Fix You" by Coldplay, and Angel chose "If I Were a Boy" by Beyonce.
Their performances were judged by producer Rodney Jerkins, Billboard editor Tamara Conniff, choreographer Laurieann Gibson, and Diddy -- who ultimately chose the winner.
