Liz Sandoz is one of 22 women who received a rose from The Bachelor star Nick Viall on the first night of filming, but she came close to elimination.

When she learned Nick was picked as Season 21's The Bachelor star, she applied in order to get to know him better. But instead of immediately addressing the elephant in the room upon stepping out of a limo, Liz tested Nick to see if he'd remember her. Liz's little skit, however, only seemed to frustrate Nick.
The 29-year-old doula from Las Vegas, NV, probably didn't handle the awkward situation the best. Will Nick move on from the fact she didn't contact him in nine months, and could he fall in love with her?
Below is a list of seven facts Reality TV World has compiled about Liz Sandoz:
- Liz loves the smell of books, especially second-hand ones. She wants to hold a book in her hand, smell its pages and mark them as she goes. You won't find Liz reading a kindle, and she never did online homework well.
- A quote she lives by: "It feels good to be lost in the right direction; You are your own atlas."
- Her greatest achievement to date is helping her sister birth her niece, Grace. She served as her doula and even cut the umbilical cord.
- Liz loves coffee and morning walks. She finds thunder and lightning in the sky romantic as well as beauty in random caterpillars.
- The bachelorette is athletic and adventurous. She enjoys paddleboarding, surfing, and horseback riding in Colombia.
- She has many tattoos: A fish, flower, arrow, tree, another tree, a saying, a star, and another saying. The parts of her body that are inked happen to be her sides, left foot, left wrist, right finger and back.
- Liz has recently volunteered in Haiti and even spent Thanksgiving one year helping kids in Kenya.
