Lolo Jones apparently can't help but believe her Dancing with the Stars experience was a failure -- the latest example of a string of unsuccessful moments for the Olympian.

"I always try -- whenever I go do something -- to learn something, to take away something. Three Olympics, you've got to take away something if you're not taking away a medal. So when I had that [dancing] experience, I was crushed and heartbroken, and I think a lot of people didn't understand my frustration," Jones said during a Wednesday appearance on Good Morning America.
Jones and Motsepe finished in twelfth place on the judges' leaderboard during Monday night's performance show with 22 out of 40 possible points after they took the stage with a cha cha performance. Jones didn't think she danced well at all.
"But that was the biggest lesson for me, is I could not get over that performance. I felt like I let Keo down, I mean, he came down all the way from South Africa and I killed our first dance," Jones continued.
"But the biggest difficulty and lesson for me was I needed to be -- I finished the dance and that was very tough for me to do. I wasn't proud of that when I walked off the stage and I couldn't get over that. I sulked. I was having a hard time breathing backstage. I was trying not to cry, and I don't even remember anybody dancing that night. To know now that was my only night on the show, I really regret that, and I wish I would've been able to just smile and take in the moment."
Jones had also posted a sad message on Facebook on Tuesday night in which she wrote, "When I was dancing last night and messed up I had flashbacks of the three Olympics and that people constantly tease me about. I thought oh no here it comes again. People are going to ridicule me. I'm so tired of feeling embarrassed... I wanted to come away a victor for once. I wanted to do so good performing in public that the haters would stop teasing me."
However, the post ended with her explaining that she learned from her time on Dancing with the Stars and needs to be strong.
During her appearance on GMA, Jones elaborated on the mistakes she had made during her cha cha routine.
"I didn't have the cues that everyone saw on the screen. I was waiting for three text-message cues and they didn't come. Keo was trying to train me like, 'Things, they happen, you may not have a cue. Just go when the words start. But it just rushed me. I felt so rushed. And for the first dance, you already have so much anxiety, and it killed me," Jones explained.
"So I was just like, 'Walk like Beyonce... You might have killed your intro, but walk like Beyonce.' And so I did that and then I was like, 'Oh my gosh, you killed your intro!' And that's like the attitude, [the part] responsible for building up the whole story [of the dance].
Jones admitted she's not sure if she'll dance again -- unless it's with her future husband -- although she'd love to have "another effort at it."
