Christian Seklecki, Darwin Zook, Franky Arriola, Jason Holmes, Leo Borriello, Mike Sweet, and "Q" Quaison Dodd were eliminated after none of Love in the Wild's seven second-season women opted to select them at the first Couples Choice Ceremony.
Love in the Wild's second-season premiere began with new host Jenny McCarthy meeting the seven men and seven women who believed they would be the only singles participating in the season and having the women select a man to serve as their initial partner.
The women -- who did not get a chance to speak to any of the men before making their selections -- then made their picks based on the results of a drawing the women had previously participated in.
Cina Luks, a 22-year-old from San Lorenzo, CA, went first and selected "Chase" Aaron Chase, a 28-year-old from San Diego, CA who currently resides in Newport Beach, CA. She was followed by Tara Locke, a 26-year-old from Arlington Heights, IL who currently resides in Miami Beach, FL.

Tara picked Tim Parrish, a 32-year-old from Green Bay, WI who currently resides in Chicago, IL.
Summer Mack, a 32-year-old from Satellite Beach, FL who currently resides in Indian Harbour Beach, FL, choose third and selected Jesse Wilson, a 33-year-old from Oakdale, CA who currently resides in Manhattan Beach, CA.
Jenny Blatt, a 27-year-old from Philadelphia, PA, picked fourth and opted for "Ben" Benjamin Clark, a 27-year-old from Chesterfield, England who currently resides in Monroe, NC. She was followed by Ali Leitza, a 33-year-old from Little Rock, AR who currently resides in North Little Rock, AR.
Ali selected Jason H., a 29-year-old from Paso Robles, CA who currently resides in North Hollywood, CA and was followed by Yanina Beccaria, a 33-year-old from Rosario, Argentina who currently resides in Chicago, IL.
Yanina picked "Ken" Kenneth Barrington, a 33-year-old from Peoria, IL who currently resides in Miami Beach, FL, which left Shauna Dillard with no choice.

Shauna, a 28-year-old from Kingsburg, CA who currently resides in Hollywood, CA, was automatically paired with the last remaining guy -- Christian, a 34-year-old from August GA who currently resides in Atlanta, GA.
However, Jenny McCarthy then revealed Love in the Wild's second season was beginning with a twist in which each woman would also get to select a second suitor from seven previously unseen additional men who were called into the matching area. Since it was a surprise, the selection order of the second round of picking was based on a random draw conducting by Love in the Wild's producers -- however Cina once again ended up with the top pick.
Cina opted to pick Jason Ewell, a 25-year-old from Dublin, CA, and was followed by Ali, who selected Darwin, a 32-year-old from Boston, MA.
Jenny went third and chose Franky, a 31-year-old from Miami, FL. She was then followed by Shauna, who selected Ryan Sm.th, a 27-year-old from Boise, ID who currently resides in San Francisco, CA.
Yanina selected fifth and picked Mike, a 30-year-old from San Dimas, CA who currently resides in Los Angeles, CA.

Yanina's selection left Tara to choose between Leo, a 27-year-old from Windsor, CT who currently resides in Philadelphia, PA, and Q, a 31-year-old from New Haven, CT who currently resides in Los Angeles, CA. She opted for Leo, leaving Summer with Q, the last man left.
After the selections were done, the newly-formed threesomes competed in their first adventure challenge, which required them to swim, paddle, and hike over a lengthy course and retrieve three conch shells.
However before the adventure began, Jenny McCarthy revealed the finish order would not only determine the selection order of the first Couples Choice Ceremony where each woman would only get to pick one man and seven men would be eliminated, but also decide the accommodations the trios would enjoy in the days leading up to the ceremony.
Summer, Jesse and Q were the first trio to complete the adventure and won the right to stay at the luxurious Oasis private villa, as well as an additional reward outing.
They were followed by Yanina, Ken and Mike; Tara, Tim and Leo; and Cina, Jason E. and Chase. As the second, third and fourth place teams, all three teams got to stay in private cabins at Love in the Wild's resort complex.

Shauna, Ryan and Christian finished in fifth place and were followed by Jenny, Ben and Franky in sixth place -- forcing both teams to have to stay in tents erected near the private cabins.
Ali, Jason H. and Darwin were the last team to finish, resulting in the trio having to sleep in a crude lean-to shelter which only offered mosquito netting to protect them.
All of the singles then spent the next several days getting to know their partners and other prospective suitors better, after which the season's first Couples Choice Ceremony began.
Since Summer's team had won the adventure challenge, she was allowed select any of the 14 men as her partner and they would be unable to decline her selection. She opted to dump both Jesse and Q and select Tim, who had been partnered with Tara.
The rest of the women were then told they could only decide which of their two current partners they wanted to remain paired with -- with Tara no longer having a choice since Summer had already opted to select Tim.
Yanina then proceeded to keep Ken and dump Mike and was followed Cina, who kept Jason E. and cut Chase, Shauna, who kept Ryan and dropped Christian, Jenny, who kept Ben and dumped Franky, and Ali, who kept Jason H said goodbye to Darwin.
However, Jenny McCarthy had one more twist to announce and then revealed that all of the women except Summer would get one more chance to swap their current man for any of the seven men who had been cut lose by the women. Tara then opted to swap Leo for Jesse while Ali decided to dump Jason H. for Chase.
Love in the Wild's second season-season episode will air Tuesday, June 12 at 9PM ET/PT on NBC.
