Maksim Chmerkovskiy has gone country - or at least he's pretending to be.

Since Chmerkovskiy announced his departure from Dancing with the Stars in February 2013, he's landed some small acting gigs with this video being his latest.
The video (WATCH IT BELOW) features Chmerkovskiy moving to the country to live with his girlfriend, who is trying to kick his old sophisticated habits -- such as drinking wine -- and get him to embrace a country lifestyle. As the song's lyrics suggest, you can't call yourself country without going cow tipping, skinny dipping and getting your boots dirty.
The girlfriend is also shown teaching Chmerkovskiy how to dress, properly eat a watermelon, drink heavy beer, and dance at a ranch.
Chmerkovskiy first appeared as a pro on Dancing with the Stars for its second season back in 2006. He competed on 14 seasons in total, landing in the runner-up spot twice and also finishing in third place twice. He never won a title.
Chmerkovskiy was absent from the reality dancing competition's most recent sixteenth and seventeenth editions.
After he left Dancing with the Stars last year, Chmerkovskiy appeared on General Hospital in March 2013 and went on to star in "Forever Tango," a Broadway musical featuring fellow Dancing with the Stars pro Karina Smirnoff, that summer.
