"Malcolm in the Middle" star Justin "Reese" Berfield has bought the house made famous by Jessica Simpson and Nick Lachey on MTV's "Newlyweds."

The single 19-year-old snatched up the Mediterranean-style 5-bedroom, 6,500-square foot home just days after it was listed, "Access Hollywood" reported Tuesday.

Although price he paid was not revealed, the asking price was $3.75 million, the tabloid TV show said.

Simpson filed for divorce from Lachey in May and recently purchased a home of her own.
