Mama June says her new boyfriend is a "one-of-a-kind" person.
"[He] came into our life when we actually needed someone to say, 'OK, all men aren't bad,'" Mama June said of dating after her split from longtime love Matt "Sugar Bear" Thompson.
"It's been a long time. I mean, it's been a good, probably, 15 years since I've been happy," she confessed. "It's a lot different. He's one-of-a-kind."
Mama June said mutual friends introduced her to her boyfriend, whom she said didn't know her from TV.
Her beau will appear on her WE tv series, "Mama June: From Not to Hot," which will return for a second season on Jan. 12."He just doesn't watch reality TV. I mean, you know, he does now watch the show, but he doesn't care two cents less about the cameras," she said. "Outside of this [show], we are a very normal, everyday crazy bunch."
Mama June shares 12-year-old daughter Alana "Honey Boo Boo" Thompson with Thompson, and three other daughters with previous partners.
"I'm very proud that Mama got with him because she smiles if you say anything about him," the former "Here Comes Honey Boo Boo" star said. "I'm like, 'Mama has been so happy!'"
Mama June said she's considered marrying her boyfriend, although she told The Blast she is done having kids.
She responded, "This baby factory is closed!" when asked if she would have another child.
