June "Mama June" Shannon's controversy in which she's dating a convicted sex offender, who had previously molested her own daughter, is reportedly tearing her close-knit family apart.

Here Comes Honey Boo Boo star Lauryn "Pumpkin" Shannon, 14, is accusing Lee "Uncle Poodle" Thompson, her father's brother, of spreading lies about the scandal to make money and has launched a profanity-filled tirade on Instagram to make her point.
"THIS HERE IS UNCLE POODLE AND HIS MAN. THEY ARE UPSET BC THE SHOW WAS CANCELLED AND THEY NO LONGER HAVE MONEY. THEY HAVE BEEN SELLING FALSE STORIES AND MAKING MONEY. HE TOLD ME EARLIER TODAY THAT HE HOPED MY MOM GOT CANCER AND DIED OF A SLOW PAINFUL DEATH," Lauryn captioned a photo of a blank Twitter page slashed with the title "FUUYCKRAPISTSFOREVER."
"GET THIS HE IS 30 YEARS OLD TELLING A 14 YEAR OLD THIS. EVERY STORY THATS OUT RIGHT NOW HE HAS PUT OUT AND ITS ALL FALSE. HE JUST THINKS IT ALL FUN AND GAMES SELLING FAMILY OUT BUT KARMA IS A BITCH TRUST ME I KNOW HER PERSONALLY. SO IMMA SIT BACK AND LAUGH BC WHEN THE TRUTH COMES OUT YOUR FUCKED."
Fox News has confirmed Lee tried to sell them a story when contacted for comment about June's involvement with Mark McDaniel, a registered sex offender as of March who was just released from jail last month following a 10-year prison sentence for multiple sexual abuse charges.

However, the website rejected his offer, which prompted Lee to decline giving them any information at all.
"For the true real story about all of this and photos how much is it worth to yall," Lee reportedly told Fox News.
TLC canceled Here Comes Honey Boo Boo late last week after images surfaced of June spending time with McDaniel, however, June has repeatedly denied she's dating him despite "compelling evidence." McDaniel had previously molested June's now 20-year-old daughter Anna Cardwell.
June's ex-boyfriend Mike "Sugar Bear" Thompson, Lee's brother, has since voiced his concern for the well-being of their daughter Alana "Honey Boo Boo" Thompson. Mike admitted he's "a little bit" upset over the situation, and according to reports, he wants custody of her.
"Mike is all over the place and is distraught that his daughter has had contact with a sex offender. He wants her out of that environment and knows the only way to do that is to get custody," Mike's friend "Crazy Tony" Lindsay told the Daily Mail recently.

"[But] he has got no money and has taken to borrowing from everyone. He owes me $100 and I doubt I'll ever see it... June has all the money, and he has not seen any of it. He will have to sue for custody and June will not give her up. I genuinely worry for the future of that family."
Child Services may reportedly investigate the case, and if June's household is deemed unsafe for her children, the kids could be removed from their home. An investigation typically takes 30 to 45 days to complete.
