Kile, the son of Usher's ex-wife Tameka, had been riding on an inner tube when Hubbard crashed into him.
He suffered a critical brain injury and his family decided to remove him from life support nearly two weeks after the mishap.
Hubbard was convicted of homicide by vessel, reckless operation and unlawful operation of a personal watercraft, TMZ reported.
