Maquel Cooper's ex-husband Josh Munday apparently regrets letting his marriage to Arie Luyendyk Jr.'s The Bachelor bachelorette fail.

Josh and Maquel, a 23-year-old photographer, business owner and model who currently resides in Orem, UT, got married in May 2016; however, they filed for divorce just five months later.
"There was no infidelity, [and] she was never rude or malicious or anything of the sort. We were high school sweethearts that got married a bit too early," Josh explained, adding he "would not be opposed" to getting back together with Maquel.

Maquel will be shown competing for Arie's attention and affection when The Bachelor's 22nd season premieres Monday, January 1 at 8PM ET/PT on ABC.
However, Maquel must not have won Arie's heart, because the blonde beauty is rumored to have begun reconciling with Josh right after she returned home from filming The Bachelor.
If that's the case, Josh got his wish after all!
"Maquel is one of the best human beings I've ever met in my entire life," Josh gushed to In Touch.
Not only is Josh clearly still in love with Maquel, but he also believes his ex-wife was never a great match for Arie, a 36-year-old pro racing driver turned real estate agent.
"Maquel is a very religious person. She's not the type to jump into the Fantasy Suite," Josh insisted of the conservative Mormon. "[And] I think Arie's a little old for her."
America was already introduced to Maquel when The Bachelor: Countdown to Arie special aired in mid-December 2017.

After being shown taking photos of a pair of newlyweds, Maquel told the cameras, "One day, I'll find love. Arie has got this sexy, suavy thing about him. So we'll see if he likes me; hopefully he likes me!"
