Scholastic has announced plans to publish a holiday children's picture book penned by married U.S. celebrity couple Mariah Carey and Nick Cannon.
Aimed at readers ages 3 and up, the book is illustrated by artist A.G. Ford.
"We are so excited to work with the Scholastic team on our Roc and Roe picture book and we can't wait until this holiday season!" Cannon and Carey said in a joint statement Thursday.
"It's been such a fun and collaborative process and we are thrilled to be working with Nick Cannon and Mariah Carey on this exciting project. 'Roc and Roe's Twelve Days of Christmas' is the perfect book to read with your little ones -- an adorable spin on a classic tale, sprinkled with humor and heart," said Ken Geist, vice president and editorial director for Scholastic Press Picture Books.
