Mariah Carey will be returning to the Hallmark Channel.
The first of Carey's films is scheduled to premiere during the channel's Countdown to Valentine's Day programming event in 2017.
The "Infinity" singer will also compose and produce an original song for each movie.
Carey previously collaborated with the network on "A Christmas Melody," which premiered in December.
The channel aired her holiday music special Mariah Carey's Merriest Christmas the same month."We are honored to continue our collaboration with the multi-talented Mariah Carey," Michelle Vicary, executive vice president of programming at Hallmark Channel's parent company, Crown Media Family Networks, said.
"It's rare to work with a talent who can produce, direct, star and also compose original music for a project, and we know she will deliver for our viewers once again," she added.
Carey starred in the 2001 film "Glitter" and has since appeared in "WiseGirls," "Precious" and "Lee Daniels' The Butler." The singer and actress is also slated to voice Mayor Marion Grange in "The Lego Batman Movie."
