The Dancing with the Stars pro and Carlson got married at a venue north of Los Angeles on Friday afternoon, People reported.
Ballas shared an Instagram photo on Sunday of the couple embracing on their big day in front of a small carousel. Ballas was wearing a dark greenish-blue suit and bow tie, while Carlson donned an embellished, sleek gown with a matching bejeweled headpiece.
"It's a wild feeling. Your wedding is something you subconsciously prepare for your entire life. You wonder who it's going to be with, where it is going to be and how the ceremony and reception are going to be," Ballas told the magazine.
"Now it's finally here and happening. It's surreal. I just want to soak it all up because I just know I'm going to click my fingers and the whole evening will be over and I want to make sure I enjoy it."

Celebrity events planner David Tutera reportedly put together the wedding of Ballas and Carlson's dreams. Approximately 160 guests attended, including Ballas' best man and fellow Dancing with the Stars pro Derek Hough.
"I'm so grateful so many family and friends were able to travel here to celebrate our wedding," added Ballas, who took a break from Dancing with the Stars' latest 23rd season to star as Frankie Valli in Broadway's production of Jersey Boys.
Ballas anticipated his wedding night would be full of "amazing moments."
Hough also took to Instagram on Sunday to congratulate his best friend on his nuptials with a surprisingly deep and heartfelt message.
"Such an honor to be the best man at my brother's wedding. Witnessing their love be sealed under a beautiful oak tree in front of family friends was such a special moment. Like the tree, may you stand together tall and proud," Hough captioned the same beautiful image Ballas had posted.

"May you always go out on a limb for one another to stay grounded and dig your roots in deep so that you may weather any storm. And always continue to grow, stronger and higher reaching towards the heavens. And to always enjoy the view. Love you two."
Ballas, 30, and Carlson, 29, became engaged one day before Thanksgiving last year although the pro dancer didn't confirm the news until late January 2016. This year, the pair reportedly celebrated the holiday with a big dinner and beach party on Thursday with friends and family.
