Mark McGrath became the latest star fired from the business-themed reality series "The Celebrity Apprentice" in New York.

"Apprentice" host and producer Donald Trump gave McGrath the boot in Sunday night's episode after the recording artist failed in his role as project manager for the men's team.

The men's and women's teams were challenged to create a marketing campaign for sunscreen.

"You're project manager and you picked the theme," E! News quoted Trump as telling McGrath about why he was being eliminated from the competition.

"[The clients] didn't like the theme. Mark, you're fired."
