"I just got arrested and sent to Gwinnett County Jail by the Dept of Safety GA," Chris, who currently resides in Atlanta, GA, wrote.
"The officer was adamant I was a different Christopher Williams until the Gwinnett County's Office ran my finger print and determined that it wasn't me!!"

Chris captioned his post with five clown emojis.
Many Instagram users called the event "B-S" and a nightmare, and there were many comments advising Chris to sue and file a false arrest lawsuit.
One person wrote to Chris in the comments, "Imagine a wanted murderer telling the officer 'it's not me, its a different Christopher,' and they let him go. That's the purpose of fingerprints, now go ask for your prints back and also ask for a letter to carry in your wallet so it wont happen again."
A false arrest is when a person is held against their will or taken into custody without consent, a probable cause, or a legal justification such as a warrant.
Chris proceeded to upload a video on Instagram Stories of his brief time at the Gwinnett County Jail.

Chris found fame when he married a total stranger, Paige Banks, on Married at First Sight's twelfth season.
Despite admitting on his wedding day that he wasn't attracted to Paige, Chris continued to have a sexual relationship with his wife, and then he threatened Paige with divorce multiple times after discovering his ex-fiancee, Mercedes Myrick -- whom he had been engaged to just three months prior to marrying a stranger on the show -- was pregnant with his child.

When Paige and Chris were trying to make their relationship work, Paige felt disrespected when Chris informed her -- after the fact -- he had purchased Mercedes a brand new luxury vehicle.
Chris was shown dumping Paige before their one-month anniversary because he claimed she wasn't a good communicator, and then Chris complained to Married at First Sight expert Pastor Calvin Roberson that Paige doesn't have a pretty face and the experts could have matched him with a beautiful Atlanta queen.

Paige and Chris were on and off throughout the extreme marriage experiment, with Chris repeatedly convincing Paige to give their romance another shot since he thought she was a good woman with a lot to offer.
During the reunion special, Paige announced she and Chris had briefly reconciled after announcing their decision to divorce on "Decision Day." But the romance apparently fizzled out quickly.
In June 2021, Chris accused Paige of being a backstabber and trying to "ruin him" by making him look like an "emotional abuser" on the show when she had allegedly asked him to keep filming for the paycheck after he dumped her.
"I had no clue that you were telling people that I was trying to get back with you. You set me up. You asked me after our initial conversation with Pastor Cal to keep filming with you so that you could get your check," Chris claimed in a series of Instagram Stories postings.
Chris said that after he ended the relationship, Paige allegedly called him on September 10, 2020.

"I had quit, but I felt bad for the situation so I agreed [to keep filming]. You then went and told the other ladies that I asked to have a conversation with you when that was a lie," Chris wrote.
"The world bashed me because they said I was playing you. The other ladies said that I was a horrible person for playing with you when it wasn't true!"
Chris also suggested it's unfair he was portrayed as the bad guy for not being attracted to Paige.
"You told me the same conversation that you wasn't attracted to me either," Chris noted.
"You said your type was taller than me (which I am 6 feet tall) and more muscular men. I said, 'Cool, we are in the same boat.' You also told my parents on camera. They edited it and didn't show it to make me into a villain! You were never upfront about that."
Chris continued, "The only reason I kept filming is because you on Sept 10th... almost two weeks into the wedding, asked me to keep filming. You said, 'I don't care if you go back to your baby moms, can you keep filming with me so I can get my check?' I hope you don't deny it."

Chris also claimed Paige had flat out "lied" about the couple sleeping together consistently during their honeymoon in Las Vegas.
"You lied and said that we had sex everyday on the honeymoon and once again I got bashed. You know half the nights you slept in the producers room and I slept on the couch! You tried to ruin me!" Chris wrote.
Chris accused Paige of lying on the show when it benefited her.
"You never spoke up and spoke the truth! I didn't dog you out! We were hanging and chilling at your crib laughing at the season after the season ended! So it was crazy to see stuff like that!" he vented.

Chris also said the show's producers had made Paige look "desperate" and "thirsty."
"You did whatever the producers wanted and it was not a good look for you," Chris wrote. "You were not filming so you could see things through in your marriage. You wanted that check."
Chris continued, "Why do y'all think after the experts allegedly gave her an out to the marriage she kept filming? It was because of our agreement."
"But Lord knows if I would have known that you were lying on TV saying I wanted to work stuff out, making me look like an emotional abuser, I would have went TF off on all parties involved because that's not right!! Zero integrity!" he complained.
Chris said the only way he'd "drop receipts" for his side of the story was if Paige came forward and denied his allegations.
Paige never responded to Chris' allegations or fired back at him in the press, but she admitted after the show how she felt Chris had manipulated her through their marriage.
On the Married at First Sight -- Decision Day: Dish Boston special that aired in May 2022, Paige shared, "I just wish that we never really showed up [to Decision Day]."
Paige said Decision Day was simply a formality that "overcomplicated" her relationship with Chris.
Paige took to Instagram in December 2022 and wrote, "During this holiday season, I want to take a moment to reflect on where I've been and where I'm going. When you first met me two years ago, I was destined for love. 2022 was personal. I hit so many of my goals, loved even harder, and suffered some losses."
"Life isn't perfect, but I wouldn't have it any other way," she continued.
"I appreciate all those who have rooted for me since Day 1. God's perfect grace has kept me and will continue to keep me. In 2023, I'm turning the page to new opportunities, adventures and an abundance of love. #meseason #turningthepage #happyholidays #selflove."
