Married at First Sight alum Cortney Hendrix has revealed she is pregnant!

Cortney, who starred on Season 1 of Married at First Sight, is expecting her first child with husband Sherm, whom she married in October 2020 after her Married at First Sight marriage ended in divorce.

"[Our dog] Queso is getting a playmate!! Baby Sherman is on the way!" Cortney captioned photos with Sherm and her ultrasound images this past weekend on Instagram.

Cortney said she's "dreamt of being a mother" for "as long as" she "can remember."

"I didn't really know if it was going to happen for me naturally because of endometriosis. It was a fear I've always had in the back of my head and voiced it often to my friends and family," Cortney wrote in her post.

"Seeing two pink lines was the most joyous and terrifying moment. I immediately cried and we just hugged each other. A few minutes later, I heard Sherm in the other room. I went in and saw him down on his hands and knees, praying and thanking God for this miracle."

She added, "I'm so thankful he is my husband and I cannot wait for this journey with him."

Cortney -- who is 15 weeks pregnant, according to Us Weekly -- said she and Sherm waited to announce their "joyous news" because it's "not news everyone can celebrate."

"We know how lucky we are -- fertility is extremely emotional and draining, and my heart goes out to all the mommy's and daddy's waiting. We are praying for you," she wrote.

Cortney called her growing baby a blessing in her life after going through a difficult time.

"God knew what our heart desired and in His perfect timing, blessed us with a growing baby," Cortney revealed on Instagram.

"After a season of death and loss in both of our families, (We lost 3 grandfathers in less than 6 months) this blessing of life really felt like God showing us 'hey I'm with you' and illustrating the circle of life. God doesn't waste your pain."

Cortney also shared with her followers, "The last thing I was able to tell my grandfather before he went to heaven in March was that we were having a baby! I showed him the pregnancy test over FaceTime while my dad was with him. I was just 7 weeks."

Cortney was previously married to New York firefighter Jason Carrion. The pair starred on Married at First Sight in 2014 and subsequently appeared on Married at First Sight: The First Year together in 2016.

Cortney and Jason, who were married for five years before their split, quietly filed for divorce in February 2019 following a six-month separation and Cortney moved to North Carolina and debuted her relationship with Sherm on Instagram in June 2019.

Sherm also went through a difficult divorce about six months before meeting Cortney through mutual friends in late 2018.

Sherm proposed marriage to Cortney at a hotel in North Carolina on March 6, 2020 after dating Cortney for more than one year and the couple got engaged.

Cortney and Sherm wed in an intimate ceremony in North Carolina in October 2020 amid the ongoing coronavirus pandemic.

"I was broken for a really long time. I thought I was never going to have a chance to have love again," Cortney told People late last year.

"But I have never laughed this much in my entire life. Sherm is the funniest person I've ever met. He's my favorite person... I'm just looking forward to being a wife again -- but a better wife."

Sherm joked with the magazine "all bets are off" after the wedding and he and Cortney would start trying for a baby right away.

Meanwhile, Jason moved on with British actress and former U.K. reality TV star Roxanne Pallett. Reports the couple were dating first surfaced in August 2019.

Jason got engaged to Roxanne -- who has appeared on several U.K. reality series including Celebrity Big Brother -- in December 2019, only 10 months after divorcing Cortney.

Jason gushed about his new fiancee on Instagram at the time, "When I said you're the love of my life I truly mean that. You get me more than anyone ever has and ever will."

Jason and Roxanne tied the knot on January 26, 2020 in New York.

When Cortney had initially announced her divorce from Jason, she said they wanted to "move on in different paths" but the makeup artist still had love for her ex and would always have "a special place in [her] heart" for him.

"We asked for privacy this entire time bc we were trying to figure it all out. At one point we thought we were going to divorce in order to date and start all over the right way," Cortney continued in her statement.

"We have decided together to move on in different paths, but that doesn't mean we don't have love for each other. He will always have a special place in my heart and life."

Jason also told People in a March 2019 statement he and Cortney had decided to separate "with a heart full of sadness."

"We fell deeply in love, and had very much a fairytale story being married as complete strangers in the docu-series, Married at First Sight," Jason said.

"We both had such an incredibly magical journey together these past few years, making this that much harder to write and even harder to live. These last few months, we asked for privacy to reevaluate things. It has been a very difficult time for me especially with all the rumors, as well as the public wanting updates about our marriage."

Jason added that he and Cortney would "continue to love and support one another" with "a common goal to remain friends."

During their Married at First Sight season, Cortney found it difficult to be married to a firefighter given his schedule and need to face danger, and Jason was dealing with his mother's failing health.

However, the couple decided to stay together at the end of the experiment on "Decision Day."

Married at First Sight is currently airing its twelfth season on Lifetime.
