On Married at First Sight's Season 18 premiere Wednesday night on Lifetime, Camille couldn't wait to be a bride and hopefully meet the love of her life.

But right before her wedding, Camille, fully dressed in her gown and ready to walk down the aisle, suddenly ran for the hills.

On the latest episode of Married at First Sight: Afterparty, Camille and host Keshia Knight Pulliam watched back the clip.

A MAFS producer asks Camille, "You think you're ready?"

"I don't know," Camille replies. "I really don't know if I'm ready. I just don't know."

Camille then starts walking briskly in the opposite direction of her wedding ceremony, where the groom, Thomas, is anxiously awaiting a glimpse of his bride.

Camille's sister Gabrielle yells out, "Camille, listen! Is she running away?!"

Gabrielle then sits down with Camille and says, "Sissy, it's just me and you. You've wanted this for so long. You've worked so hard on yourself. You know you're ready to be a wife."

On Afterparty, Keshia pointed out how Camille's sister was "the star" that day, and Camille agreed.

"When I tell you we are attached at the hip, we talk every day and we are each other's voice of reason. So there was no one better who could kind of talk me off the ledge," Camille shared.

When asked what she'd do differently if she could do that moment over again, Camille responded, "I would just calm down... take a deep breath, take a step back, focus on the positives, and not worry too much about all the things that could go wrong."

Camille reasoned, "I went down this path for a reason. I'm someone who very much so believes in, 'What's meant for you, will be for you.'"

Camille noted how the Married at First Sight experts had picked out a husband just for her, and so she needed to see the wedding through.

"Out of all the people in the city of Chicago, this dude and myself were deemed to be a perfect match, essentially," Camille said.

Camille therefore concluded that she should've told her anxious self to "calm down and get your ass on."

Camille did, in fact, gather her composure and muster up enough courage to meet her mystery groom.

When she walked down the aisle and first saw Thomas, Camille said she was relieved that her groom was tall.

"I'm thinking he looks really good standing down there in his suit," Camille gushed, adding that she was initially attracted to him.

"I think he's a very good looking guy. I am someone actually who's so personality-based. My friends would say that about me, too, that looks aren't important to me, in their opinions."

Keshia joked that Camille must not have dated "pretty boys," and Camille confirmed that.

"So that was a good first step, and then I'm just anxious to see what's underneath -- to see if it matches [his appearance]," Camille explained.

Thomas told Camille at their wedding that she looked "beautiful," and Camille said her first kiss with Thomas was "good" and it "wasn't awkward."

Camille elaborated on how the couple's smooth after saying, "I do," just "flowed" and definitely "set the tone" for their marriage in a positive way.

While Camille was almost Married at First Sight's second runaway bride in show history, it wasn't because of the pre-wedding gift Thomas had given her.

Camille revealed that Thomas gave her a vinyl record, which was perfect because she "such a music head," as well as a "really pretty" compass bracelet that symbolized how she was headed in the right direction.

The first time a bride ran away was on Married at First Sight's seventeenth season. When a bride saw her groom, Michael, at the altar, she said she couldn't go through with the wedding and she took off.

Michael was given a second chance and was matched to marry a more serious cast member, Chloe, but their marriage ended in divorce.

Chloe had asked to stay married to Michael, but it was actually Michael who pulled the plug on his marriage.

When Married at First Sight's new season continues, four more couples will be shown tying the knot.
