Married at First Sight stars Zach Justice and Mindy Shiben are moving forward with a divorce, but claim they're still thankful for one another and their shared experience.

Mindy chose to end her marriage to Zach prematurely, about two weeks before "Decision Day," because Zach seemed disinterested in her from the start, and Mindy eventually caught her husband lying about a secret "friendship" he had developed with her supposed best friend Lindsay.

However, Zach and Mindy still appeared on Married at First Sight's Season 10 "Decision Day" episode on Wednesday to confirm their relationship was over and discuss the matter with the show's matchmaking experts.
"I shared such a unique experience with Zach and I'm grateful that he undertook the journey to be married at first sight with me," Mindy told People in a statement.

"While I'm thankful that the experts gave us this opportunity, Zach and I have decided that getting a divorce is in our best interest. I wish Zach nothing but the best and I'm looking forward to the next chapter in my life."
Zach shared a similar sentiment and said he and Mindy split on friendly terms.
"There's a feeling of failure that comes with the word 'divorce,' regardless of context," Zach explained.
"Thankfully, Mindy and I came to an amicable conclusion to the divorce and were able to move forward with friendship. All while having shared such a unique experience together."
Mindy and Zach tied the knot on Married at First Sight 10 after being matched by show experts Pastor Calvin Roberson, Dr. Pepper Schwartz, and Dr. Viviana Coles.

Zach and Mindy's relationship was caught in a downward spiral ever since their honeymoon in Panama when Zach admitted to his wife on several occasions he wasn't attracted to her and they lacked intangible chemistry.

Mindy never gave up on her marriage despite her bruised ego, but Zach threw his walls up and kept his distance from his wife. He even refused to move in with Mindy in an apartment Married at First Sight had provided for them in the Washington, D.C. area.
After catching Zach in lies and growing tired of being the only one to put effort into their relationship, Mindy decided to end her marriage to Zach once and for all.
"I told myself I was only going to let myself be disappointed like that one more time and that's it, so I can't subject myself to that. I'm sorry to say but I don't want to be in this marriage anymore," Mindy told Zach in an earlier episode.

"I don't know what to say. I feel like I have a lot to say but I don't know what to say," Zach replied. "I feel with the lack of transparency, it put you in a position where you had to make this decision, but I don't think I expected it."
Mindy said she wanted to make her marriage work so badly that she would have been willing to do pretty much anything.
"But what I've learned is no matter how much I wanted it, a marriage is not about one person and my husband did not show up to be any kind of decent partner," Mindy griped.
Mindy subsequently threw a divorce party for herself, and she gushed about how she had found an inner strength she never knew existed through her tumultuous relationship with Zach.
Mindy felt stronger than ever and very prepared for her next relationship.
