Married at First Sight: Couples Cam's third season premiered with Jephte Pierre discovering a "huge issue" in his marriage, Ashley Petta getting induced, Danielle Bergman having a post-pregnancy complication, Deonna McNeill and Greg Okotie deciding on a name for their son, and Jessica Studer receiving her COVID-19 vaccine during Wednesday night's broadcast on Lifetime.

The remaining returning couples are Season 9 couple Elizabeth Bice and Jamie Thompson as well as Deonna McNeill and Greg Okotie, Season 10 couple Jessica Studer and Austin Hurd, and Season 11 couples Karen Landry and Miles Williams as well as Amani Rashid-Smith and Woody Randall.
At the beginning of Couples Cam's third-season premiere, the whole group was introduced to two successful couples from Married at First Sight's recently-wrapped twelfth season: Virginia Coombs and Erik Lake in addition to Briana Myles and Vincent Morales. (Clara Berghaus and Ryan Oubre are still together but chose not to participate in the spinoff).
Footage then flashed back to Danielle and Bobby welcoming their second child together, a son whom they named Robert "Bobby" Elvin Dodd IV at 12:01PM on December 14.
Bobby IV was born weighing six pounds and five ounces, and Danielle cried at the first sight of her baby considering she had gestational diabetes and feared the worst going into her delivery.
Danielle was thrilled her baby's delivery went smoothly, but the following day, Danielle's blood pressure kept increasing. The symptoms of HELLP syndrome -- a variant of preeclampsia which Danielle had suffered during her first pregnancy -- is high blood pressure and a low platelet count, and unfortunately, Danielle was experiencing both of those things.
While Danielle's child was safe, the mom of two was still at risk of potentially having a seizure or stroke.
"I definitely feel relieved knowing that the baby came right before her onset of HELLP syndrome. I'm still a little worried about Danielle because she's not quite out of the woods yet," Bobby told the camera.
After what appeared to be a full day in the hospital after welcoming her son, Danielle's levels were normalizing and so the doctors allowed Danielle and Bobby to go home, where their sweet daughter Olivia was waiting for them.
"Fast forward three years [from marrying a stranger], I have two kids and an awesome family, and I wouldn't have it any other way," Bobby gushed.
Meanwhile, Jephte wanted to get started on trying for Baby No. 2, so Jephte surprised his wife with rose petals around the house leading her into the bedroom, where Jephte was waiting on a bed of roses without his shirt on.

"What are you doing?" Shawniece asked in laughter.
"We're having another baby!" Jephte joked. "Baby No. dos."
"Does it have to be today, like right now?" Shawniece asked. "I thought we were going to talk about our plans."
Shawniece told her husband that her doctor had recommended she allow herself more time to heal from her recent breast augmentation surgery. Jephte admitted that was a buzzkill, and Shawniece suggested they could watch a movie instead.
The couple revisited the conversation later on, and Jephte was upset Shawniece wasn't ready to expand their family. Shawniece complained Jephte wasn't thinking about her needs, her body and her well-being.
Jephte said he wants four children, but Shawniece admitted, "I don't know what I can deal with. I don't."
Shawniece said it seemed like Jephte wasn't going to be happy in their relationship long-term and she didn't want to go by Jephte's book and vision for their marriage. In turn, Jephte said they'd just be following Shawniece's book instead.

Shawniece kept repeating that she was "done" with the conversation as Jephte begged her to calm down. The couple eventually worked things out, with Shawniece asking Jephte to spend more time together alone by leaving the house and having date nights.
"Shawniece is focused on spending quality time together, but for me, the biggest problem is that we have different ideas about how many kids we want, and I think that's a huge issue," Jephte said in a confessional.
Jephte asked Shawniece to write down what would make her feel comfortable to have four kids, and she agreed.

Over in Chicago, Ashley had set a date to be induced and give birth to her second daughter two days earlier than Anthony had anticipated. Ashley needed to have an emergency induction three weeks before her due date with Mila, but this pregnancy was different.
Before Ashley was induced, Anthony gave his wife a push present, a beautiful band of diamonds.
"I just want to show Ashley -- the mother of my child, soon to be children -- just how special she really is to me. I just want to do something for her that I wasn't able to do when we got married at first sight," Anthony shared.
Anthony even got down on one knee to present Ashley with the ring, who was totally surprised.
"I wasn't expecting it at all. It was such a sweet gesture... He's never proposed to me, so it was something really special!" Ashley gushed.
Ashley and Anthony later went to the hospital, and after more than 12 hours of contractions, Ashley had her epidural. Suddenly, she noted, "Something is wrong."
Ashley had to receive a second epidural because the first one apparently didn't take, and Anthony wasn't allowed in the room. An emotional Anthony had to listen to his wife yell and scream, "Ow, that hurts! Ow, ow!"
As for Deonna and Greg's baby, they were at the stage of picking out a name for their baby boy on the way. The spouses considered several meaningful names: Stephen, Bourbon -- which received a quick "no" from Deonna -- Malachai, and Declan.

The couple ultimately chose Greg's favorite name for their son, Declan, which means "man of prayer" and "full of goodness."
When checking in with Jessica and Austin, Jessica was no longer working in the COVID-ICU. She was back in her cardiovascular unit and had been promoted to nursing director, which was exciting and hard for the MAFS alum.
Jessica said her unit takes care of extremely sick COVID-19 patients who need to go on a heart and lung bypass machine. She was feeling very overwhelmed but came home to Austin, who had prepared his wife a nice dinner on the table.
Jessica was in a high-priority unit for the coronavirus vaccine, and so she ended up getting her first shot. (The second shot would follow in three weeks).
"I'm feeling very optimistic for the future. This is my chance to protect myself and my loved ones, and I could not be more happy!" Jessica said.
"I'll feel safer at work and my family won't have to worry as much... I'm definitely seeing some light at the end of the tunnel. I'm hopeful for a world when we don't have to wear masks and we can hug each other!"
Married at First Sight: Couples Cam's third-season premiere also featured Karen and Myles moving into a new place with more storage space; Briana taking her first weekend trip away from Vincent, who was required to keep their apartment very tidy; and Doug taking his kids on a treasure hunt.
Virginia and Erik were also shown traveling to Pennsylvania for a visit with Virginia's mother Barbara and sister six months into their marriage.
Virginia said she and Erik had grown closer together from the "scrutiny" and "heat" they've received online. Virginia said the mean comments about her appearance and acne online were the hardest to deal with but she and Erik continue to reassure and protect each other.
Viewers also saw Amani challenging Woody to make a Chicago-style cocktail and seafood dish, Keith learning German in attempt to be promoted to a manager position at his company with Kristine's help, and AJ and Stephanie heading to Key West for the winter as "snowbirds."
And Elizabeth and Jamie attempted a juice cleanse while they were on a health and fitness kick. Elizabeth revealed she had breast implants and was finally feeling more confident in her tall and slender body type.
