Married at First Sight expert Pastor Calvin Roberson insists there's nothing wrong with Briana Myles being "a boss" and the Season 12 bride definitely has a sensitive side to her as well.

During the couple's wedding, Briana's family and friends warned Vincent that Briana can be quite bossy after the bride and groom had just met for the first time.
When Briana and Vincent were standing together at the altar, the officiant read, "Briana's friends and family would like you to know that she is giving but bossy, loving but bossy [and] she knows what she wants but is bossy. She is goofy but bossy. Basically, you are getting a loving boss."
Based on traditional gender roles, some men might expect their wife to play the role of housewife and leave her bossiness at the office, but Pastor Cal noted there is no problem with a successful and dominant woman being just as assertive in her marriage as she may be in her career.
"Look, the thing is, women are bosses because they have to be. My wife is a boss! She ain't nobody's pushover, she knows what she wants and she handles her business," Pastor Cal said during a recent appearance on Atlanta's 96.3 WHUR radio show called The Frank Ski Show with Nina Brown.
"But the thing is," he continued, "it's okay for a woman to be a boss, that's great, right? But the husband can't be your employee!"
Pastor Cal added, "Briana, she is [a boss], but there is a sensitive side to her also."
News Briana is a "bossy" woman definitely raised Vincent's eyebrows on his wedding day, but he remained even-keeled and optimistic about their future together.
"At the end of the day, when she comes home, Briana wants someone to be sensitive and to take over and be that -- not a boss at home -- but to be her 'house-band,' or what I call it, a 'hus-band,' one who bands the house and keeps the bad stuff out and the good stuff in. That's what she wants."

Pastor Cal said the same thing applies to Briana's co-star, Paige Banks, because that's what Paige "wanted as well" going into the Married at First Sight experiment.

Although there's been backlash over the experts casting Chris Williams as Paige's husband, Pastor Cal pointed out, "There are so many Black couples who have succeeded" in the Married at First Sight franchise, including Miles Williams and wife Karen Landry as well as Woody Randall and wife Amani Rashid-Smith.
"Give us love for that!" Pastor Cal exclaimed. "We're going to do right by you. We're going to do our best to do right by you."
During a late January episode of Married at First Sight: Unfiltered, Dr. Pepper admitted Briana's family mentioned the word "bossy" too many times and it didn't make for the best first impression.
"I have to say that I wish I could've talked to Briana's friends and family and not have them say 'bossy' 52 times, you know?! I would advise against that!" Pepper said.
But Vincent was immediately captivated by his wife, regardless of what anybody had to say about her.
"She's definitely my type, like, petite, beautiful, really nice face and really nice features. I definitely feel super attracted to her, and I'm hopeful we'll both like each other," Vincent gushed in a confessional on the show.
Briana in turn said Vincent was "handsome" and "everything [she had] envisioned" for a husband.
Briana and Vincent's marriage continues to grow stronger on the series, and the couple revealed they had consummated their marriage during their Las Vegas honeymoon.
