Married at First Sight expert, Pastor Calvin Roberson, can't believe Luke Cuccurullo turned down a kiss from his wife, Kate Sisk, at their wedding reception when guests tapped on their glasses.

After Pastor Cal watched Luke refuse to kiss his beautiful bride, the Married at First Sight expert had a look of disgust or disappointment on his face.
"I'm sorry. My wife tells me I wear my emotions on my face. I'm working on that," Pastor Cal admitted. on Unfiltered.
After Jamie asked Pastor Cal to "unload" his feelings on the topic, the expert admitted, "That's ridiculous!"
"That's ridiculous! I'm sorry. You know how I feel, that's absolutely ridiculous," Pastor Cal repeated.
"And this sounds chauvinistic or whatever -- I don't care -- but normally, if [the woman] feels a little reticent, you know, the guy is supposed to sort of feel where you are. And if you don't want to do it then fine, but she leans in and he pulls away?! No!"
Kate confessed she was "just feeling confused" in that moment at her wedding. After all, she and Luke had just exchanged personal vows and committed to a lifetime together as man and wife.
"I was trying to put myself in his shoes and see if he was uncomfortable, but he didn't say anything about it. He was just putting it on me, like, 'Oh, you're uncomfortable, we don't have to do this.' And I was like, 'I'm not!' But then he's weird about it," Kate explained on Unfiltered.

"It just felt very odd... and yeah, I guess I felt rejected -- because I was."
However, the awkward exchange didn't exactly put a damper on Kate's big day.

"I overall felt really good the whole day because my friends and family were there, the wedding was exactly what I pictured, and Luke had a lot of great qualities that I noticed immediately," Kate reasoned.
"But then there are these bits and pieces, like, not being able to kiss me that just were just kind of in the back of my head but I pushed them down immediately -- just because what else can I do?"
When Jamie asked Kate's Married at First Sight co-star, Kristine Killingsworth, what she would have done had her husband Keith Dewar pulled a Luke at their own wedding reception, Kristine replied, "I would have yanked him to me!"
"I would have yanked him over and demanded my kiss. And if he still tried to walk out of it, I would demand to know why, because it's our wedding day!" Kristine reiterated.

"I understand [Kate] saying she was trying to put herself in his shoes, but you guys are in the same shoes! You are both meeting complete strangers and you're getting married, so at least do it for the experience. Don't half-ass it."
In addition to Kate, Luke, Kristine and Keith, Married at First Sight's eighth season also stars AJ Vollmoeller and Stephanie Sersen as well as Will Guess and Jasmine McGriff on Lifetime.
